NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE SHORT TERM RENTAL
TO: CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF CASCO, ALLEGAN COUNTY, MICHIGAN
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 26th day of February, 2019, a public hearing will be held by the Casco Township Board at the Casco Township Hall, 7104 – 107th Avenue, South Haven, Michigan 49090, at 6:00 p.m., local time, to hear and consider proposed amendments to the Short Term Rental Ordinance.
The amendments will consider how to regulate buildings that may be used for short term rentals or for bed & breakfast operations. They will also consider who should be designated by the Township to enforce the Ordinance. They will also consider an amendment to the definition of “Rent or Rental.”

Written comments will be received at the Township Hall of Casco, 7104 – 107th Avenue, South Haven, Michigan 49090 (telephone: 269-637-4441), during normal Township business hours.
The Township will provide necessary and reasonable auxiliary aids and services at this hearing, such as signers for hearing impaired persons and audio tapes of printed materials for visually-impaired persons, upon receipt of seven days' prior notice. Disabled persons requiring such auxiliary aids or services should so notify the Township by contacting the Township Clerk.
