Pinwheel Gardens represent the prevention of child abuse and giving children the life of play they deserve. The picture below shows the Casco Pinwheel garden planted by Casco Seniors in April to encourage others to do all they can to prevent child abuse and neglect as children are our future.

Monday June 5 - Hidden Treasures of Casco - Learn about Overhiser Farms - Alex will do a virtual tour, including the trout pond, petting zoo, corn hole, and more. Join us for pizza and to learn more about Casco. Starts at Noon.
Monday June 12 - Jellyfish Display craft class is full. Let Mary know if you'd like to be on the waiting list.
July 24 - Gift Bags - Join Lillian Paris and Maureen Morovec and make personalized gift bags. Enjoy the camaraderie of neighbors, and have some lunch.
Friday August 4 - Foil Packet Meals - Easy Summer meal solutions on the grill or in the oven. Rick Ruppel is preparing some for you to try and you will make a couple to take home.

The 8th annual Cereal Drive for the Allegan County Food Pantry Collaborative(ACFPC) is collecting boxes of cereal during the month of May, for children in need throughout Allegan County. The program goal is to collect 10,000 boxes to feed the children in need throughout the summer vacation months.
Casco Township is hosting a drop box for collecting boxes of cereal
at the Township Hall. Please join us in contributing to this worthwhile program.

LOCAL HEROS HONORED BY THE TOWNSHIP
At the November Casco Township Board Meeting, Carol Rice (L) and Bernie Lopata (R) we recognized by the Board for pulling two women from a burning car after an accident on 109th at 70th St. The accident took place in September. Allan Overhiser presents the commendations in their honor.
