​​Casco Seniors Exercise Class

Mondays & Thursdays 10:00am

These classes at the township hall, attended by men and women, are for balance and strength. The rigor of the class is nicely balanced by the fellowship over coffee when exercise concludes.

Cardio Drumming 

Fridays at 10:30am

Sign up and joins us for a fun way to workout to music with drum sticks and an exercise ball. Give it a try. It is a platform for socialization and fitness and builds sensory motor refelexes. All equipment provided - just bring a smile and be ready to have some fun while you exercise. Follow along or do your own thing to the music - keep moving is key. At the township hall.

Tuesdays 12:30 - 3:00 
Join others for a game of cards at the Township Hall. Board games, card games, puzzles...organized around card tables in the Casco Township Hall. Newcomers are welcome. Sponsored by Casco Senior Services.​​​​​

Feb 13  Technology Questions? - phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, even watches. It's all so confusing. What do you really need?  What about viruses? Bring your questions and we will do our best to give you an answer. 
Feb 20  Cooking with Janet and Mary - How to make the most of a pound of meat. Sample tried and true recipes; take recipes home during this time of high grocery prices.
March 20 - Cooking with Janet and Mary - Making your Own Pizza
Learn, taste, and take one home. It's a low cost meal you can customize to your taste.

March 27 - Technology Questions - emails & texts, What's legit and What's a scam - how to tell and protect yourself.
March 29 & 30 - Tax Assistance from Whiteford Financial Management - call for an free 15 minute appointment using form 1040EZ.
April 3 - Easter Crafts with Maureen- have fun decorating 12 inch tall, felt Easter Bunny, followed by lunch 
April 24th - Cooking with Janet & Mary - Entree Salads  ​Taste well-known restaurant salads and take home recipes for these "copy-cat" salads.
May 3rd - Senior Appreciation Lunch - Join others from Casco for a luncheon in appreciation of our seniors.
June 5 - Hidden Treasures of Casco - Learn about Overhiser Farms - Alex will do a virtual tour, including the trout pond, petting zoo,  corn hole, food truck, and more.

Senior Transportation Program

Allegan County Senior Transportation Program provides transportation for essential services, such as medical appointments, COVID-19 vaccination appointments, legal appointments, grocery shopping, prescription pick-ups, and more. Services available in and outside the county.
