The Casco Township Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee has been planning the development and operation of Casco Township's parks. The first park, The Casco Township Nature Preserve, is now open.
The Parks Ordinance, put into effect in early 2011, is available below. The ordinance sets hours of operation for the Casco Township Nature Preserve as well as the First Street Beach Access.

The Parks & Recreation committee also created and recently updated the Township Park & Recreation Plan.
Parks & Recreation in Casco Township is funded through a .25 mill which raises approximately $45,000 annually.
The Parks & Recreation committee meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Casco Township Hall. Exceptions to this schedule are posted in the foyer of the Township Hall and may be published in the South Haven Tribune, also.
